The Detroit Brewery Neighborhoods
Midtown Detroit
Midtown is the most walkable brewery district in the city. Motor City Brewing Works — Detroit’s original microbrewery, operating on Canfield Street since 1994 — paused taproom operations in early 2026 due to aging steam infrastructure, though their beers remain in distribution.
